CHRISTMAS COTTAGES

These are my first two cottages for the Christmas Cottages Swap. It's a nice opportunity to get creative, as we can add embellishments in any way, or not, to make these look Christmasy.

Does the snowman in the window of one, and the Santa and reindeer flying on the roof of the other look familiar? They are from my DJSS, in my last post. They were perfect for this project!

  1. Too cute! Great use of the Santa fabric and the Snowman fabric! I have looked thru my fabrics but haven't gotten any further than that yet... Need to get busy! :o)

  2. The little cottages are darling, I made 2 little cottage quilt not to long ago and I am posting them today. One is summer and fall and the other is Christmas. They were so much fun to make. I embelished them with small buttons for door knobs. I cut and used novetly caricature fabric in the windows and doors. This project was probably on of my favorites that I have every made!

Thank you for sharing yours they are darling!!! Carolyn from Des Moines, Iowa :)
