I'm back at it this morning.
Sitting at my machine, my cutting table is over my left shoulder.
Here's the view from my pressing station. It's a beautiful day in Upper Michigan, (yooper land) - supposed to reach 80 degrees this afternoon. But it's really windy, so I'm not tempted to play outside too long today. The waves are really whipping up on Whitefish Bay in the background.
I used to think I should have set my sewing machine up under the window. But it makes me get up and move around more this way, which is much better for you, LOL!
Oh what a perfect place to sew. I would hardly ever leave that room.
ReplyDeleteWonderful sewing room and an Awesome view...I would never leave that room except for hot tea, chocolate, and sleep :) Come to think of it...I think I would just move a bed in there and sleep there too LOL
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely view. This would be a great place to sew. The UP is such a beautiful place. I will be up in Garden, then to Iron River in 2 weeks. Can't wait.
ReplyDeleteI grew up in Lower Michigan, always wanted to move to the UP
ReplyDeleteI have a lazy suzan just like yours and LOVE it.... would love to have windows like yours as well...
ReplyDeleteLOVE your creation-station! Windows, a fab view, lazy-Susan cutting board... OMGoodness but you have everything! Me a tad jealous. LOL
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Cyn; -)
I like your idea of walking to the ironing board... I do that too for the same reason. I'd sit for hours and not move! lol
Your sewing room is so light and cheery. I'd stay there all the time!!
ReplyDeleteOh yes!! What a lovely spot to sew - a light, spacious room and a lovely view - hope you got lots of chain dewing done.
ReplyDeleteI think if I had that view I would get very little sewing done!
