WORD VERIFICATION

After 4 tries and giving up to verify that I'm not a robot on someone else's blog, I once again took word verification off.  Of course spam started. 

But now instead of word verification, I'm just using moderator approval, so it may take a few hours more for your comment to show up, but they'll be easier to leave.  You won't have to prove you're not a robot!

    I took off the annoymous being able to leave a message and that seemed to work.

    Yes Pat, just make it that no Anonymous comments are allowed and the spam stops.

    You can find it in your settings POSTS AND COMMENTS

    and then check the Registered User circle.


    Since doing this, I have not had any spam.

Those with a blogger account: Log into blogger on your dashboard page, click where it says "edit profile" on the left side of the page. Then check "SHOW EMAIL ADDRESS" in the 3rd line down, and at the bottom of the page click SAVE PROFILE!
