THREAD THE NEEDLE DAY

Did you know that today, July 25, is official "Thread the Needle Day"?  Well it is.  You can read about that here.

 
What could be more appropriate for today, than working on spool blocks?
 
 
I have my work cut out for me -- literally!

    Those spool blocks look great Pat! do you piece them onto a paper background? I have never done strip piecing, it's on my 'to do' list!

    Now that's a holiday. No sewing for me for a while though. Except I am doing some hand quilting in the evenings.
