DOWNY QUILT PROGRESS
Yesterday I took my Downy Quilt to the flimsy stage.
Here's a close up of the fabrics together. The bright lime green really is the same color as the swirling stems and leaves.
Now I need a name for the quilt label. I'm thinking, 'Oh, Happy Day' or 'Swirls of Hugs' or ............ or...............
The print focus fabric has birdhouses, birds, flowers, fruits, butterflies, ladybugs, etc. It's a happy print, for sure.
Please leave any suggestions for a unique name for this quilt in comments. Thanks!

I'm bad with names...My thought was, "You are a Tweetie." See what I mean?
ReplyDeleteI hope to make more quilts for Downey, too. It was a fun project and a good way to practice my quilting skills.
I have made one, and my daughter (12-y-o!) made one, as well! They are fun to put together, and they really make is as easy as can be, with pre-cut strips and squares!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt turned out lovely!
I'm not too good at coming up with clever names...
How about "Chasing Butterflies" or "Count the Butterflies?" Pretty Lame, I know ... maybe I need another cup of coffee today.
ReplyDeleteI like the names you suggested and I also like "Wings of Love" (since a lot of the critters on there have wings).
ReplyDeleteSince it is your first one how about.
ReplyDeleteFirst Love.
Oh wait, I should use that one.
I like swirls of hugs, especially if you quilt it with a swirly pattern!
