Today I worked on my first block for a bookcase swap. Each of us is making a 6" x 12" block of books and other things that are found on bookshelves. I think I'll do some experimenting with the jar of jelly beans to make it a bit shorter.
Hi Pat and congratulations!!! Good for you starting your blog. I have an account so I can leave comments but I haven't started to blog yet. One of these times I think I will. I like your bookshelf and the candy jar is cool. My black fabric is in the mail to me today. I think I will work on them in October. Karen
Ditto Pat, Welcome to the blog world, and thanks for stopping by my blog. I love how you began your project for the bookcase swap, and the candy jar is so lovely.
Your blog is great! I started one a few months ago. I love your jelly bean jars and book shelf blocks. Mrs. Santa certainly treated you great...pretty block.

I love those sweets, Pat, but you're going to have to eat the embroidered flowers on my bookcase block !! Truly, your block is very pretty
