I found this rock along the Lake Superior shore. It so reminds me of a bargello quilt. I wonder if that's where the idea came from?
Much easier to strip piece, slice, shift, and resew in quilting. Must have taken quite a bit for Mother Nature to create the slicing, shifting, and reattaching in this rock!
