My Wonky Houses Swap group decided to add wonky trees. I signed up for some in green and some in color. These are 5" x 8" (the houses are 12" squares). Here's a sampling of mine. By the time I finished the colored ones, I think I finally had my wonk on!
Here's my whole forest. I do believe that top-right one is pointing rather rudely, and could benefit from attending Disney Cast Academy to learn how to point the Disney way. Just sayin'.
I selected one of color and one green to keep. The others have made their way to Jane. They are due May 1, but I hate when I run close to deadlines. You never know when life will get in the way!

I do think you have wonked way out! it will be interesting to see the different interpretations of the trees.
Those are so cute!!! Love the owls in the tree.
Very creative trees, Pat! I think adding wonky trees to your wonky houses is a nice touch. It will be a darling quilt :)
Great trees. Nifty idea! Glad you found your 'wonk'. That's funny! lol
What a fun wonky tree forest. You made me giggle about the Disney Cast Academy pointing. Wonky houses and wonky trees...next wonky people??? Joyful stitching...
Great Trees Pat! I'll be doing stage 2 in the wonky block swap and signed up to do e of each (perhaps I'll do more after I get the initial ones done).
WOuld you be a sweetie and help me out? When you did your trees with the raw edge machine applique, did you use any fusibles under the tree or trunk fabrics? I'm thinking that would be more fun to create my trees but I'm unsure of the "finishedness" (sp? & if that's a word) of the block. Thanks for your input. I've followed your blog for a year and jsut realized you are participating with Jane's Wonky House Swap. Jane
that was 4 of each. Major typo! Jane
